About This Event
This four-hour hands-on workshop offers a condensed introduction to adobe block making and construction in the Woodbury School of Architecture courtyard. Participants will learn by making an adobe block while also having an opportunity to explore the Earthen Affairs exhibition at Wedge Gallery.
The workshop is designed for DIYers, natural building enthusiasts, adobe homeowners, aspiring builders, and those curious about earthen construction.
What You’ll Learn
Participants will receive a hands-on introduction to adobe block making and basic adobe construction. The workshop includes practical experience making an adobe block along with an exploration of adobe and bio-based building through the Earthen Affairs exhibition.
